The Oak Park Society of Model Engineers participates in Oak Park's Day in Our Village in June, Breakfast with Santa at Cheney Mansion in December, the All-American Train Show in LaGrange in March, and we help to maintain a large scale layout at Shriner's Children's Hospital in Galewood. We welcome questions about model railroading and will gladly share our wealth of knowledge about trainsets, layouts, engines, rolling stock, DCC wiring , turnouts, etc.
